FEBRUARY CONTEST WINNER
Lewis Wurth of WURTH BROTHERS, INC in Beason, IL is SafeTruck’s February 2012 Oversize Load winner. Mr. Wurth hauled a John Deere 2-Row Split 24 Front-Fold Planter from Moline, IL to Baltimore, MD. The overall DIMs for this 38,000 lb. haul was 41’ long, 11’ 9” wide and 13’ 6” tall. Baltimore was not the final destination for the planter. It was off loaded from Mr. Wurth’s flatbed trailer on to a ship at the Port of Baltimore. The planter’s final destination — Germany.
This was Mr. Wurth’s first oversize load haul. He purchased SafeTruck OSL banners and flags at Central Illinois Trucks, Inc. in Normal, IL. He found our OSL contest flier with his newly purchased products. He polished up his Kenworth, installed the SafeTruck oversize banners and flags, took the pictures below, entered the contest and was selected our winner!
