APRIL CONTEST WINNER
Congratulations to Rick Burgess – SafeTruck’s April 2012 Oversize Load winner. Mr. Burgess is a New York Certified Truck Escort driver working for McQuaide Truck Line (MTL) in Johnstown, PA.
Mr. Burgess escorted the transport of a 16,600 pound wind turbine blade from Johnstown to a wind farm in Mt. Storm, West Virginia. The haul’s dimensions were 10’ 6” wide by 13’ tall with a total length of 159’ 11”. SafeTruck OVERSIZE LOAD banners and Flo-Orange Jersey Staff Flags purchased at Harvey’s Supply Company in Johnstown were used on this 110 mile heavy haul.

The three Oversize Load Operators and six Certified Escort Drivers are very skilled, professional and safe. We work as a team and get an opportunity to see some beautiful sights across the USA!”
